Custom closets

Custom closets and dressing rooms, built in.

Walk in closets, wardrobes and reach in fit outs for homes and cottages across Muskoka, Parry Sound and Georgian Bay. Joinery, not a wire kit screwed to the drywall.

Fit it to what actually goes in it.

Most closets are laid out as generic hanging and shelving, then spend the rest of their life half empty at the top and jammed at the bottom. A closet works when the layout is set from what you own. Long hang, double hang, drawer runs, shoe shelving and where the bulky things live.

So we start with the contents and the room. Ceiling height, where the light lands, which way the door swings, whether a bank of drawers is better than another rail. Then it gets drawn, and you sign off before anything is cut.

In a cottage a closet also has to cope with a house that gets shut for months. Ventilated backs, finishes that do not bloom in damp, and hardware that still runs sweetly in May.

Where we work

Rosseau, Port Carling and Gravenhurst.

We build closets and dressing rooms for homes and cottages around Rosseau, Port Carling and Gravenhurst, and across the wider Muskoka, Parry Sound and Georgian Bay area.

A good number are on water access lots, where a closet has to be drawn in sections that will make the boat and the stairs. That gets planned at the drawing stage rather than discovered on the dock.

Closets are often the piece that gets added late in a build. If the rest of the house is already booked with us, tell us early and we will bring it into the same run.
